My healing journey

My own healing journey began, the day my father sadly passed away in February 2021. I was very close to my dad and his absence left a huge hole in my life. As a result I began to use knitting initially as a way of coping with my grief and then it started to become a way that I could help others by knitting for charity.

The mindfulness of making

A lot has been written about mindfulness over the recent years and with good reason. We live in such a busy world that there hardly seems time to stop and reflect about the things that really matter in life. I believe that people are starting to look for solace in starting new hobbies that can help heal a troubled mind or heal a bruised heart. Of course you don't have to be going through any particular trial or tribulation, you might just want to try your hand a making something new and that is amazing!
